The Avatar part II

The other night I completely forgot about this little jem

that I had downloaded onto my computer last year, I don't remember who made it or even what website I found it on (which probably is no longer up or has been redesigned) so this replaces the other two for next in line. Makes me smile every time I look at it.

The Avatar (Duh-Dun-Duunnn)

FOUND IT! "Mirror Universe El Humidor" by paradigmBias on DeviantArt, but I also found two replacements, just in case...

Mirror NX-01 with USS Defiant by Neeka-Keet on DA (scaled down from 1280x712).

And

Mirror Mirror by karracaz on DA (not scaled down), and yes the searchword was "mirror universe."

Woah, two posts in one night, I must be making up for lost time. tootles for reals this time.

Their Not-So-Great Legacy

Back in college, and remember I have a blog, and that it won't update itself. And in only 2 days even. So far I have no books and I already an assignment to finish by Friday or Saturday, and on Blackboard (a website for online assignments) which I've never used, and my avatar up and disappeared. And on to my main point, the video game Star Trek: Legacy, this not even a year old game promised much and sadly didn't give that much, don't get me wrong, as a Star Trek game it's fantastic, but as regular game it's kinda sucky, but my opinion may be based on the fact that the game is taxing on a good gaming computer, and all I have is a ThinkPad. but other people have (if you'll excuse the term) bitched about it, saying that "Bethesda released a game half ready", "they cheaply used the same game engine from Star Trek: Armada", and the ever popular (or at least I liked it) "man, the beta screenshots were better than this" (this is true). Worst of all, after installing a mod (okay, it was 2 mods at the same time) caused the infamous Access Violation error to come up every time I tried to play it, and reinstalling wasn't doing me any good so I moved the entire Legacy folder to my "Removed Things From Legacy", found out I've done that before, and (apparently once again) installed Legacy(oh alright installING, it takes a half hour for the sucker do that on my computer) onto a "new" folder that has absolutley no evidence of previous modding, patching, and tampering by yours truly, not only that but I will copy the whole pure and untainted by the world version of it into a file I have most bluntly named "Regular, Uncut, Unedited, Unpatched, Unmodded Legacy For Emergency Purposes Only". What can I say, whilst being a mediocre game by gaming standards it still is one of the best Star Trek games I've played or owned even, and is my little labor of love. ;)

Wow, this HAS to be one of the longest rants I've ever had the pleasure to rant, and heeding my dear sister's advice DIDN'T make this thing a one huge-a** sentenece blog. Well can't wait to hear from whoever reads this, in the meantime I'm gonna find my avatar again if not find a new one, tootles!
